Dreams Come True

Cooper Associates Ltd is a corporate partner of the children's charity Dreams Come True. In partnership with Dreams Come True, our mission is to help make dreams come true for terminally and seriously ill children aged between 2 and 21.

Why do we do it?

Dream children often have very little to look forward to apart from endless rounds of hospital visits, painful treatments, or the prospect of living with a long debilitating disease. These very brave children can become depressed and frustrated yet they all dream of things they want to do and achieve.

Fulfilling a dream provides a positive focus empowering both them and their families with new enthusiasm and strength to deal with the ongoing daily struggles of illness, gruelling hospital treatment and sometimes sad loss.

The Dream Child

To qualify for a dream, each child has to be in a potentially life-threatening situation. This may be Cancer, Cerebral Palsy, Leukaemia, Brittle Bone Disease or all manner of threatening illnesses.

How we raise our funds

In addition to Cooper Associates Ltd contributing a significant monthly donation to the charity, our employees regularly participate in various fund raising activities, which rely heavily on the generosity of so many.

Kilimanjaro Mountain Climb Challenge

Samantha Cooper, our training and competence manager, will attempt to trek up Africa’s highest mountain. Trekking through four seasons in a week, from steamy forest to snowy summit, will require great resolve and stamina.

Lands End to John O Groats Cycle Ride

Two of our company directors, Lee and Glyn Cooper, will be cycling 120 miles a day to accomplish Lands End to John O Groats.
