In the news this month……….

Mortgage BrokerHouse prices fall for tenth consecutive month, according to Land Registry figures……….BUT

House prices have risen for the third consecutive month, according to the latest figures from the Nationwide.

Cooper Associates comment:-

Confusing? Yes, extremely.

The reporting of house price movements is extremely inconsistent, and with the Nationwide, the Halifax, the Land Registry, the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, Savills, Rightmove and Hometrack all providing contradictory data, it’s simply unacceptable.
