1) What qualifications do you hold?
All our financial consultants hold professional qualifications. We have advisers who have either completed – or are on the journey to achieving – chartered status.
In order to always provide the best advice, it is important our advisers remain up to date with the latest market and fund developments. Therefore, in addition to studying for exams and professional qualifications, our advisers complete regular professional reaccreditations.
2) How does financial advice work?
For financial advice to be truly valuable to you, it must be based on an appreciation for your individual circumstances and needs. We advise on many aspects of wealth management, helping individuals of widely differing financial resources or life stages.

3) What do you charge and how much am I likely to pay?
This is an extremely important question, and one that will help you determine the quality of advice you receive.
At Cooper Associates Wealth Management our advisers’ time is free of charge and without obligation. We are always very happy to meet with a client to establish their financial goals. We will then often arrange a second meeting, where we present a bespoke solution for our client based only on their individual circumstances.
There are no charges for these initial meetings. Should you decide to go ahead with our recommendation, you will incur charges which will be outlined by your adviser before you are able to proceed. Transparency is integral to our relationship with you.
Our products and services have fees, and these will be made very clear to you at these meetings before any decision is made. Our advisers are committed to clearly explaining all charges which apply should you wish to proceed with an investment. Our motto is to treat every client as our only client, meaning we put you at the forefront of all we do.
4) How can I monitor my investments?
All clients receive access to an online portal whereby they can monitor the performance of their investments. This will not detract from the service you receive from your adviser, who will also play a key part in feeding back the success of any advice you have received, or action you have taken. Our approach is proactive, not reactive.
5) Do you have any clients who are in a similar position to me?
We are naturally curious as to whether a company has existing clients in a similar situation to ourselves. This provides reassurance that the adviser has a track record of helping others in a similar situation, providing you with confidence that your Financial Consultant is fully equipped to handle your individual case.
Our advisers have a wealth of knowledge and experience in financial advice, so there is a very high chance we have worked with clients in a similar situation. However, our experience has also taught us that no two clients are the same and we therefore ensure that we understand your personal or business objectives to deliver solutions that are right for you.
