The Cooper Associates Foundation supports Christmas Sparkle project
The Cooper Associates Foundation is delighted to be supporting Christmas Sparkle, the Taunton based project which supports families in need.
Christmas Sparkle was founded in 2015 with the aim of giving a Christmas present to every child aged 0-18 years living in difficult circumstances in the Taunton and Wellington community. Last year, due to the generosity of local people, they were able to distribute approximately 3,000 gifts to over 1,000 children and young people.

They donate through various local agencies such as Halcon One, Women’s Refuge, parent and family support advisers (who work with vulnerable families in schools throughout Taunton Deane), health visitors and many other agencies. They also go to the foodbank in the week before Christmas and give out gifts there, in addition to visiting Musgrove Park Hospital, providing gifts to young mothers and babies who are in over the Christmas period.
Hannah Freeland, a mortgage adviser at Cooper Associates Mortgages, and supporter of the Cooper Associates Foundation, explained why we supported the Christmas Sparkle project:
“At Christmas it can be easy to forget those people living in difficult circumstances. The Cooper Associates Foundation wants to help make every child’s Christmas sparkle and we are delighted to support the Christmas Sparkle campaign. Our Foundation has donated a number of toys which will be distributed to children throughout the Taunton and Wellington area. I really enjoyed volunteering at the wrapping events which Christmas Sparkle organise.”
